John and Marlena Work on Things and J.J. Begins His Plan to Save Paige from Kyle

Daniel proposes to Nicole at the restaurant. Nicole cries and asks if this is really happening. She says yes! He says he is grateful to have her. He puts the ring on her finger and says nothing will come between them. She has a flashback to Eric and he asks her what's wrong. She asks if Parker knows, and he says not yet. He will tell him when he comes home. Nicole asks him if he is sure he doesn't want to tell everyone first. He says there is no reason to hide it. He asks her if there is a reason that she thinks so. She wants to make sure he is sure about things, and he says yes. Nicole says she makes a lot of mistakes and she just wants what is best for him, even if it isn't her. She wants him to not do this just because of what happened to her. She wants him to make sure he is absolutely sure.



Hope calls to check  up on Abigail. She tells her she can talk to her and for her to call her. Aiden shows up behind her with flowers. Kayla runs into them and says they should do dinner on Sunday. She says she is embarrassed because she wasn't rooting for them initially. She is glad she was wrong about Aiden.

Marlena and John are meeting up with Julie and Doug for food and talking about their last cruise. They ask if they are back together. They keep asking and Marlena says she doesn't know. She asks John and he says they are finding their way back to each other. Julie says they are glad and they hope that they can have the same type of relationship that her and Doug share. Marlena is happy they are rooting for them. Julie wants to take a photo of them. She tells them to kiss and they do. John has to leave, and Marlena tells them she has 20 minutes before she has to see a patient. Doug and Julie tell her they are concerned about all of the changes in John's life and how he will have time or energy for her. Marlena says she is fine, but Julie insists that Marlena needs the attention she deserves. Doug asks her how she is handling all the changes in John's life.

Maggie is holding Tate as Brady walks in with Paul who came to see him. He is sleeping, but Paul holds him and he wakes up. Maggie tells Paul he is a natural. He says how this means so much to him. Brady tells him Tate has changed everything for the better.

Roman meets with J.J. who says he has decided to go undercover. He tells them he has already started and has a meeting today with Kyle. Roman says he should have talked to them first. The agent says in the future yes, but what he already did was good. J.J. promises he won't go rogue or tell anyone else about it. Roman wants to know why he is all in all of a sudden. J.J. says he just wants to do his part. The agent gives him pointers and tells him he can't tell anyone. J.J. says he has to tell his mom because of all he has put her through. If he can't tell her, he isn't doing it. They agree and the agent leaves. Roman tells J.J. to only talk to Kyle today and not do anything. He gives him a chance to back out. J.J. has a flashback of Kyle and Paige and says no way. He leaves.

Kyle is talking on the phone telling Clyde about the meeting with J.J. Clyde disposes of the phone and walks out of the park.

Serena asks Eric what happened between him and Nicole in the crawl space. He tells her he isn't going to play with her, and she knows what happened. He says Xander tortured them. Serena says that Nicole said something to her that she can't stop thinking about. He asks what she said, and Serena says it seems like something else is going on. Eric tells her they have nothing to talk about, and someone knocks on the door. Serena answers, and Brady demands to know why she is there! She says she was returning something and is leaving. She says she has to get to the hospital and Brady kicks her out. Serena wonders what Eric and Nicole are hiding. Brady asks him what is going on.

Paige tells Daphne she was thinking about calling Kyle. Daphne says he is a drug dealer, and Paige says he is cute. Daphne says she just wants to make J.J. mad. She tells Daphne that isn't true. Daphne asks her why she is getting involved with a drug dealer then. Paige says maybe Daphne is right.

Jennifer is working at the hospital and say she can't find anyone for a specific job but Paige would be perfect. however, she turned it down because of her. Maxine says she knows Paige is mad but doesn't know why.

PArt Two:

Paul is holding Tate as John comes in. He says he panicked when Brady left but he has been calm since Tate grabbed onto his finger tight. John hopes he can experience being a dad someday as well. He says he would like that one day as he lays Tate in his bassinet. He tells him about his new job. He also tells him about the basketball game he played with Will and Sonny. He says they may all end up being friends. John tells him that he will find someone else. Paul says he knows there is no rush. John tells him that the person you are meant to be with could be right there where you are.

Brady asks him why Serena is staying. He says who knows what Serena is capable of, and Eric blows up. Brady says he thinks Eric should talk to someone. Eric says forget it and angrily slams boxes around. Brady says he needs to tell him what really happened that night. He demands to know. Eric says he is OK, and Brady tells him he has to get going. Eric pulls out his phone and leaves the apartment.

Daniel tells Nicole he doesn't care what happened before tonight...well he does. All it does is make him love her more though by seeing how far she has come. He feels gratitude for the honesty and love they have. (Tell him Nicole!). He says he is very sure and they kiss. She says he is right. He says they need to set a date. He will tell Parker first, and then they will tell everyone else. She wants to leave to go to their place and make lists and be happy.

J.J. meets up with Kyle. He asks him if he has the stuff. Kyle tells him to turn around and feels him up. He says you can never be too careful. Kyle tells him they have a lot to talk about. Paige is looking in from the bushes. She walks away. Kyle asks him if he knows the risks, and J.J. says yes. Kyle says he has to be able to trust him. He says he isn't feeling it right now, and he thinks J.J. knows why. J.J. says he doesn't know what he is talking about, and if he changed his mind he is gone. He gets up to leave. Kyle tells him it's Paige. He says he can't believe that J.J. is being honest.

Jennifer says to Maxine that she hurt Paige and would do anything to make it right.

Kayla is happy she was wrong about Aiden and confirms the dinner Sunday night. Aiden has to leave, and Kayla says she has to head back to work. Hope asks her how she is doing. Kayla tells her about the Salem Bicentennial she is planning November.

Marlena says John has been insistent that she is involved and she already knew Paul. She says they are happy to have them both in their family. Julie wants to know more about Paul. Marlena compliments him. Marlena says Paul blowing out his arm brought him to Salem so it was kind of a good thing.

Paige runs into Jennifer. Jennifer asks her why she has been turning down jobs at the hospital. She says if she wants her to avoid her she will. She is worried about her. Paige tells her she shouldn't be worried about her but someone else. She says J.J. has a new drug dealer friend.

Brady arrives at the hospital and asks Daniel if he has seen Serena. Daniel thought her work was done, but he informs him that it isn't. He wonders why Serena was at Eric's and Brady says he doesn't know. Daniel gets a call and has to go. Serena shows up and stares Brady down.

Nicole enters the apartment and screams excitedly. She flips through a magazine and gets a knock at the door. It's Eric, and she tells him she has something to tell him. Nicole invites him in, and he says he has something to say about Serena. He says he thinks she knows about them.

Clyde is on the phone with business and then hangs up. He talks about Abigail and the paternity test and figures Kayla will be the one doing it.

OK, so I find it really weird that Paige would talk to Jennifer and tell her about J.J. I guess she is just still trying to hurt them both. I wish Nicole would have told Daniel that Eric has feelings for her now and what happened in the crawl space,sigh. What do you think?
