Nicole Panics About Serena and Eric Makes a Confession to Brady

Eric tells Nicole that he thinks that Serena knows what happened. He tells her that Serena was tipped off by something she said. Nicole says that can't be because she hasn't said anything. Eric says she seemed pretty sure about herself. Nicole says she doesn't know anything. He wonders if he gave her something. He says he didn't say anything. She tells him he is a bad liar. He tells Nicole they have to stick together as he sees the ring on her finger. He asks if she and Daniel are engaged. and she says yes they are. It just happened today. She tells him she is happy and Eric turns away. Nicole tells him that what happened that night meant something different to each of them. He says he should have married her when he had the chance. She says she isn't his type, but he disagrees. She says Serena will not ruin this.



Serena tells Brady that she heard him and wants to know what Eric did. He asks why she was eavesdropping. He tells her she can help by helping put Xander behind bars. He tells her to stay away from Eric. She says she doesn't give up easily and has a grant. He says if it from the hospital he is on the board and will step in. She says it comes from the university, and he pulls the Kiriakis card. She tries to say she still loves Eric, but Brady doubts it. She says something else is bothering Eric other than her and walks off.

Paige tells Jennifer to be worried about J.J. and his drug dealer friend. Jennifer asks her what they were saying, and Paige says it's none of her business. Jennifer thanks her for telling her, and Paige walks off.

J.J. wants to know why Kyle doesn't trust him and walks off. He says he was just trying to be careful, and J.J. says can we get down to business. Kyle asks for his list of customers and wants him to do something for him today to his brother. He says this is just a favor. He is trusting him with merchandise and J.J. is showing he is ready to get back to work. J.J. takes it and leaves. He calls and checks in and asks what to do next. He agrees to meet up with them and prepares to put the money in his bag. Jennifer asks him what he is up to now.

Clyde meets up with Anne at the hospital for a tour. He is the hospital charity's biggest donor now so she will do anything for him. He says he is thinking of making another donation but needs some questions answered. She ensures him the fund he helped Jordan with is still doing wonderful. She mentions that Abigail isn't the brightest person. He tells her about Abigail and Ben. She says that she just thinks Abigail is young and inexperienced but has been a great help. Clyde says good. He says he wants to turn his attention to prenatal care.

Kayla checks to see how Abigail is doing and she says great other than the paternity issues. She apologizes for snapping. Kayla wants her to be honest with herself about Chad and how her feelings are unresolved.

Stefano is looking at a photo of E.J. and talks about missing him and also about Sami. He says they couldn't live without each other. He brings up Chad and Abigail, but Chad says that she hates him. Stefano says that kind of hatred is often a cover. He says it is too late, but Stefano again brings up all E.J. and Samantha went through, but their time ran out. He asks him if that's what he wants.

Part Two:

Nicole tells Eric she can handle Serena as long as he doesn't tell anyone. She says things will be fine. Eric hopes so because Nicole is the one who has the most to lose. He hugs and congratulates her. She says thanks, and he leaves.

Kayla tells Abigail she is her only concern. She wants her to be honest with her feelings and Abigail says she is. Kayla tells her to be prepared that she may not get the results she is looking for.

Clyde tells Anne his wife was carrying a child when she died. Anne apologizes and says she isn't still making the connection. Clyde says she was on the way to get a test to make sure the baby was OK. He says he wants to honor her memory to donate money for women who can't afford those tests can get them. He asks to see that department and Anne says they can start the tour now. He thanks her for the tour and he says that Martin at the lab must be a smart guy. He ends things with her and goes over to Abigail. He says he was looking for her. He says she has made Ben very happy. He tells her that he hopes that now that Ben has things going well for him, he hopes this is a new start. Kayla comes up and asks him about the tour and Abigail leaves. Kayla asks about the donation. Clyde says the hospital can count on him. Kayla gets a call and has to leave. Chad enters the hospital and goes to find Abigail. Clyde overhears. He goes to see her and she asks him what he wants. He wants to talk.

Chad says this is all about the property, but Stefano says it is about Chad being happy. He will do anything to help.

Kyle calls Paige and asks to meet her for coffee at TBD. Beverly overhears and asks what game she is playing. She says she is just trying to get back at J.J. Paige tells her she knows something about her that will make her happy. She tells her she can have J.J. even though he will probably break her heart. She tries to warn Beverly. Beverly tells her to go cry about J.J. to someone else. Paige takes back her warning about him and leaves. Paige shows up to meet Kyle, and he says they are going to have fun after he finishes up something.

Jennifer asks him what is going on. J.J. says he can explain. He asks her to sit down. He tells her what is going on with the DEA. He tells her that Roman and a guy named Adrian are in on it. He said he told them she had to know. She is proud of him but doesn't want anything to happen to him. He says he will get training. He says he has to do this because of what he did in the past. If he does this, it could make up for all the bad stuff he did. She wonders if he is talking about Paige. He says maybe he does. Jennifer says this will not change what happened. J.J. tells Jennifer she is making her new life with the dealer. Jennifer says that is horrible but Eve should be looking out for her. She tells J.J. that Paige is no longer his concern. He says he can't just sit back and do nothing. Jennifer says Paige will eventually come to her senses. She tells him this can't be about Paige. He gets a text from Kyle asking if he dropped off the package.

Eric gets a knock at the door and it's Brady. He is worried. He can tell he is struggling and he won't talk to anyone. Eric tell him there is something going on, but Brady has to promise not to tell anyone. Eric tells Brady he has fallen in love with Nicole again.

Nicole goes to see Serena. She tells her she isn't going to get anything from Eric. She says she wants to get Nicole off her back alleging she had something to do with his illegal activities. She had to get the diamonds so Xander wouldn't kill Eric. Plus she tried to warn her. Nicole tells her to stay away from everyone. If she does that, Nicole will do something for her. Nicole says she heard about her new hospital job. She says if she writes that article, she will get fired. She tells her she won't write the article if Serena goes away from Salem. Serena asks Nicole what she is afraid of.

Anne tells Kayla that Clyde was impressed with the tour and will make a good donation. Kayla asks if he told her that, and she say no they ran into Abigail and he had to go. Kayla leaves.

I'm not sure why Nicole went to see Serena to make that offer. That seems so unlike her because she usually tries to be more careful. I'm sure Serena will find out soon and tell Daniel. Not liking this at all. What do you think?
