Serena Takes Drastic Measures to Find Out What Nicole is Up to and Chad Makes a Confession About Abigail

Serena asks Nicole why she is so afraid all of a sudden. Nicole denies that she is afraid. Serena says the real reason is Eric. Nicole says it is about Eric. He is a good person but very naive. She says it would hurt Eric if she just disappeared and Nicole didn't write the article to hurt Eric. She tells Serena she and Daniel are engaged and she would rather plan her wedding. She says it is a limited time offer, and she needs her decision now. She kicks Nicole out. Serena wonders what Nicole is hiding.





Eric tells Brady he has fallen in love with Nicole again. Brady is surprised and asks if Nicole knows. Eric says she does and loves Daniel. He gets a knock at the door and it's Daniel. Eric tells Brady Daniel and Nicole are engaged and Brady congratulates him. Daniel gets a phone call and Chloe is there early with Parker. He tells them Maggie and Victor don't know yet so they can hold off on the party. He leaves and Brady tells Eric that was classy. He says he is truly happy for both of them, because he had his shot. Eric wants Brady to help him do stuff.

Kyle meets up with Paige after sending his business text. She asks him if she should be jealous of who he was texting, and he says it was just J.J. He promises no more interruptions. She doesn't like him being friends with J.J. He says he is only nice to him because of Bev. Paige tells him she doesn't like her either and wants to get to know him. She asks him what he does for a living. He says he is a secret agent spy and superhero. She laughs. He asks her what J.J. did to miss things up. She says that is classified and was unforgivable. There is no lingering attraction. She tells him that J.J. told him he felt the same way. Paige is glad but looks surprised.

Jennifer tells J.J. he is making a big commitment. He promises he will be OK. He wants to keep Salem safe. He texts Kyle back. She tells him it isn't going to work. Paige will hate him even if he gets Kyle put away. He says he isn't trying to get her back, he just wants to keep her and other kids safe. He says it is the right thing to do. Jennifer says she didn't even say he was attractive or fun, and says Paige is the one who told her he was hanging out with Kyle. He asks if she said anything about him, but Jennifer doesn't want to say. She says if J.J. lets it go and stops hounding her she will let things go with Kyle. Jennifer tells her not to over reach and listen to Roman. He agrees and leaves.

Clyde tells Marlena why he was in the hospital. Marlena tells him she has something to discuss with him. She wonders why he has been missing his appointments. He promises to call and reschedule, but Marlena doesn't believe him. He walks away.

Chad goes to see Abigail at the hospital. Clyde tries to follow, but Marlena stops him. Chad tells Abigail they need to talk. She doesn't want to. He says he needs to tell her the truth. She doesn't him time to talk. He brings up a baby, but he was talking about Arianna. He asks her if she still hates him, and she says can he blame her. He says he was a jerk and that is why he is there now. He says none of what he said was true.  She doesn't believe him. She asks him if he lied about lying. He says he doesn't know and she says he doesn't know. She asks him if he came back to Salem for revenge, and he says yes when he first came back. He tries to tell her the point, but she keeps interrupting him and says he is just like E.J. She cries and says that she thought he loved her. Chad says that he needs her to understand what he said was untrue. Clyde barges in and asks if everything is OK. Chad says they are having a personal conversation, and Abigail kicks Chad out. He glares at Clyde as he leaves. Abigail tells him it wasn't important, and Clyde asks if Chad did anything to hurt her.

Xander is approached by someone and he says he can tell her his side of the story after she says she knows who he is.

Nicole arrives at the apartment and Daniel runs out and tells her Parker has a surprise and to close her eyes. She enters and he made her a welcome home poster. She acts surprised and thanks him with a high five. They eat cupcakes and milk. Nicole says they should set up a tent and camp out in the living room tonight. Parker runs to get the supplies. Daniel says Parker is crazy about her and she says the feeling is mutual. He says he can tell she loves kids and misses Sydney. She says she video chats with her and is happy to get to be a family with him. They kiss.

Eric goes to a drive to give away his Africa items. He sees the priest and says he wants to give confession. Serena overhears. Eric and the priest see Xander in the square walking around. The priest asks if that is what he needs to talk about, but Eric wants to talk in private. They head to the church. Eric tells him what happened as he and Nicole got hotter and hotter. He says he was at peace, He just couldn't bear to let Nicole die and they tried to escape. Serena listens in on the confession! (She is truly evil!)  Eric tells him something happened and has been bothering him since. He says that he and Nicole were always connected. He tells him that he and Nicole started to make love as Serena listens in.

Marlena tells Chad her offer still stands as he leaves the hospital. She asks him to join her for lunch at the pub. He agrees and they leave together.

Abigail tells him that she and Chad had a disagreement about hospital manners and isn't trying to make trouble for her and Ben. He says Ben wants to get along with Chad. He says Abigail is a good influence. She asks him if she can help him with something. He says they have unfinished business. He is talking about fixing the sink. She says that is great and gives him the apartment key. He asks her if everything is OK, and she says she has never been better. He leaves as he calls her a lying slut. (Wow, he has a dirty mouth). Abigail rubs her stomach and cries.

Xander is chatting it up with his new friend as Brady approaches. He says it would be difficult for him to take her to the places he is talking about if he is behind bars. He of course denies everything. Brady tells him he will do all he can to make sure he pays. Xander calls Brady a drunk and addict and says that Victor rewarded Brady instead of him. Brady says Xander messed things up himself. Xander says he can rot in hell and walks off.

Jennifer invites Roman over to make sure J.J. is protected. He says he doesn't like it any better than she does. He will take care of him. He gives her his word.

Kyle has to leave but invites Paige out. She says she will go but doesn't drink. She hopes she isn't too boring, but he says she is intriguing. He kisses her on the check as J.J. sees. He runs out of the club. He reenters and Paige is about to leave. She asks him if he is stalking her. He says if she wants to ruin her life knock herself out. He leaves and she follows him saying it is his fault her life is ruined. He goes to change and Paige enters.

Marlena asks Chad if his soup is OK since he isn't eating. He is about to leave, and says she doesn't owe him. She says she can tell something is going on and he has no one to talk to. He says she is right, and he will only do this under one condition-doctor patient confidentiality. He pays her and makes it official. He asks how to walk away from someone you loves. He says he doesn't want to make Abigail's life miserable and said horrible things to try to push her away. Marlena says so he made the decision for both of them. He says everything is a mess. Marlena asks him why he wanted to push her away and he says to protect her. She asks if Stefano has something to do with this. She says she knows him better than anyone and not to let him destroy his life. She says he should tell Abigail.

I am so mad that Serena finds out by listening in on Eric's confession! How evil! I hope she really pays for this. This is the worst way she could have found out, and I am definitely not liking it. What do you think?
