Chad meets up with Zoe and Abigail shows up for the picnic. She asks if Theo knows that Zoe is coming, and Zoe says she understands since he is on the spectrum. Abigail says she will see them there. Zoe says she was wondering why he called.Abigail remembers that she left her sunglasses. Zoe says that Chad invited and dressed her for the picnic to make Abigail jealous. He tells her it isn't true as Abigail listens in. She tells him to figure out his feelings for Abigail and then get back to her. He tells her that he wanted her to meet Theo. He tells her Abigail is ancient history. She doesn't believe him, and they walk off. Abigail enters and grabs her sunglasses. Zoe and Chad arrive at the picnic spot to see Ben. Zoe sees a friend and goes off to talk to her. Chad tells Ben he appreciates him coming. Ben says just because they don't like each other, he isn't going to make any problems. Abigail shows up in time to see Zoe come back and kiss Chad. Theo and Abe show up, and Chad and Zoe go with him to go tubing. Abigail thank Ben and then joins them. 
Brady is holding Tate and talking to the nanny as Theresa peeks in. She enters, and Brady asks her why she is there. She says she is looking for her tablet. She asks the nanny to find it, and she says she isn't her maid. Theresa gets mad, and Brady takes her out of the room to talk to her. Brady tells her to stop using Tate to get to him. He says she should have found a bigger place by now. He tells Theresa not to treat the nanny like a servant. He tells her to be gone when it is his time with his son. She leaves with an attitude. Theresa goes back into the nursery and grabs her tablet. She asks the nanny why she wants to make her look bad, and the nanny says she does that on her own. She leaves with Tate to go get the bottle. Theresa gets mad when she sees a smoke detector.
Ben runs into Abe and Theo and asks him if he wants to go swimming. He says not without Abigail and Chad. He tells her that Abigail will be there later. John leaves to find Paul. Ben tells Theo about tubing, and he gets excited. They run off. Zoe and Abigail arrive back, and Abigail appears sick. Zoe says she will go buy some hot dogs so they can have lunch.
Adrienne is trying to call Sonny to tell him about the divorce and tells Lucas. She says she hasn't told any of her boys yet, but she feels like she needs to be honest now. Lucas wonders why she can't wait. She tells him that Justin made the decision for the divorce. Lucas said that things seem tense between them. Adrienne thanks him for being patient, and Lucas says he doesn't want to pressure her. He asks her if she realized that she doesn't want the divorce. She tells him it doesn't matter but Lucas disagrees.
Sonny, Will, and Ari go to the park to relax. They are in a secluded area and see Paul with Derrick. Will tells Sonny he should go play beach volleyball with Derrick while he watches Ari. John asks Paul if everything is OK, and he says it is. Derrick apologizes to Sonny about telling him about Paul and Will at the hotel. He tells him he hopes they work things out before he goes to sign them up. Will watches Paul and John talk. They talk about Derrick, and Paul says it is kind of cool that he is hovering and asking him about a guy. John says that he figured he better get with the program. Paul says that they are just friends, and he feels comfortable in Salem. John tells him that things are getting better with him and Marlena before leaving. Paul looks back at Will who is putting Ari in the stroller. He approaches Will and tells him he can watch Ari if he wants to go play volleyball. Will says it is good that he is with Derrick, but Paul says they are just friends. Paul asks him why he is pushing things.
John shows up to see Tate, and Theresa enters to say she is going to work. She leaves to come up with a plan. He talks to Brady about Xander. He asks if Paul was offered a spokesman position, and John confirms. He tells Brady that he saw Paul at the picnic and he was with another guy that he said was just a friend. Brady and John talk about how John asked him about Derrick. Brady tells him Paul will find the right guy soon. He leaves after telling Brady that he doesn't like Theresa living there. He tells him to get her out of there as soon as possible.
Adrienne tells Lucas that she doesn't want him to feel obligated to her. She tells him she doesn't think they are in a place to make a commitment, but Lucas tells her what they have is only starting and he is OK with that.
Paul tells Will that he and Derrick play tennis, and that's it. Paul asks if Sonny knows that is why they came. He tells Will it is normal for two gay men to be friends without sleeping together and that his desperate antics aren't going to work. Sonny and Derrick return, and Sonny asks if everything is OK. Paul says nothing happened, and he and Derrick leave. Sonny asks Will what is really going on. Will says Paul got defensive when he asked Sonny about he and Derrick. Sonny says they are just friends. He gets a call from Adrienne to meet her at TBD. He asks Will if he needs help getting Ari in the car, but he says no. Will is upset that the day didn't go as planned.
Chad and Ben arrive back on shore and tell Theo to stay where he can see them. The hot dogs arrive and Theo comes back. Abigail is visibly sick (uh oh is she pregnant?).
Theresa arrives at work and talks to Anne about the nanny. She actually thinks the nanny is after Brady. She wonders if her plan is going to work, and Anne asks her what plan. Theresa says she has to come up with some way to save Tate from something. She tells Anne she isn't really going to put him in danger. Anne tells her she has an idea. Why doesn't she just be a great mother. Theresa says it won't work because of the nanny, and now they have a nanny cam in the nursery. She says the new smoke detector is a nanny cam. Anne says maybe Brady didn't know about the nanny cam either, and Theresa says it must have been put there by Victor. She gets an idea. She asks Anne for her help.
Abigail and Ben leave, and Abe tells Chad that Zoe seems nice. Theo runs off to play in his game, and Abe leaves. Chad asks Zoe if she had fun. She tells him that Ben and Abigail seemed pretty solid. Abigail arrives back at the apartment and wonders if she is late. She is of course. Someone knocks on the door and it's Chad.
So if Abigail is pregnant, I'm sure we will have a whole whose baby is it story line. I hope that it's Chad's baby so that things will be livened up. As of right now the whole love triangle is somewhat boring. What do you think?
