Chad Kisses Zoe and Eric and Nicole are Taken to the Hospital

Here it today's recap: Chad is sitting the the Dimera garden thinking about Abigail. Zoe approaches and asks what he is thinking. He tells her he was thinking about business. Food is brought out, and they talk about how bad the cover story was. Chad says he talked to Stefano about giving her more say about the business. She thought he invited her over for reasons other than business. He asks her what she thought it was about. She says it doesn't matter, and she asks him what is bothering him. He says she doesn't get paid to worry about him. She turns to leave, but he stops her. He tells her he thought she was coming onto him because she worked for him. She says she will resign, but he asks to start over.




Abigail is asking Ben what is wrong. He tells her to tell him. He says she surprised him, and he didn't get a chance to finish cleaning. He asks how it went with her mom, and she tells him she doesn't know. He asks if she changed her mind. She says she has been thinking and has to tell him something. Abigail and Ben talk about how he is mostly easygoing so she can tell him the truth. She tells him that she wants to pay half the rent. He frowns and she says it is only fair. He says he doesn't always take the best care of her, and she asks him what is wrong. He tells her that he has been thinking. He asks her what changed her mind about moving in. She says she just realized how stupid she was being. She tells him all her other relationships were mistakes, and how much her whole family loves him. She tells him she loves him, and he says for her to show him. They kiss and make out.

Daniel can't find a pulse for Nicole. Serena can't wake Eric at first, but then he opens his eyes. He screams to get Serena away from him. Brady goes over to check on Nicole and shut off the furnace. He goes to find cool water. Daniel tries to resuscitate Nicole. Brady ginds water and puts it on a washcloth for Nicole's head. She wakes up. Eric tells Serena to leave. Eric wants to see Nicole but Brady tells him to save his energy. Eric screams why is Serena still there. Nicole calls out to Eric and goes unconscious again. John and Abe show up. Daniel calls Kayla to check on the ambulance. He tells her it is for Nicole and Eric. She says she will drive the ambulance herself. Brady tells Serena to go. Abe goes to do something about the ambulance. They arrive at the hospital. Brady tells Abe that he knows who did it. Eric is in the bed sweating and Kayla gives him water. He asks about Nicole. She is shown in her room with Daniel looking at her. Brady walks in and asks how she is. Daniel tells him her temp is still high and she is delirious. They aren't sure if she will make it or have any permanent brain damage.

Xander is shot in the back with a silent gun and is dragged away by two men in all black. He is tied up and left in what looks like a warehouse. He wakes up and struggles.

John is talking to Marlena on the phone telling her about Eric and Nicole. Brady tells John and Abe how Daniel called and what happened. He tells them that Xander wanted them dead. Serena asks if they've found Xander, and they say there are looking for him. The police go look for evidence. All the cameras were disabled.

Eric asks Kayla about Nicole. He tells her he needs to know how she is so Kayla reluctantly leaves to get an update. Serena enters the room and Eric sighs. She says she wanted to make sure he was OK. He says that they say he will make it, but Nicole might die. Serena says she told Nicole Xander was dangerous, but Eric asks if she told her he was a killer. Serena wants to try to make him understand. Eric gives her a crazy look and says she should go for it. Meanwhile, Nicole is in the other room dreaming about Daniel and then talking to Eric about Daniel in the crawl space. She stirs and Daniel says he is there and he loves her. She calls out his name and opens her eyes! Serena tells Eric the entire truth and tells him she wanted to tell him before but couldn't. She says that she grew to love him and is sorry that she hurt him. Kayla enters and tells Eric that Nicole is going to be alright. She says she didn't mean to interrupt. Eric asks when he can see Nicole and she says in a bit. Kayla leaves the room and Serena tells him she is very happy for him and for Nicole. Nicole tells Daniel she was dreaming about him. He tells her she is going to be alright. She tells him she never thought she would see him again and he kisses her forehead. He tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him also and it's always been him. Eric tells her he doesn't care what happens to her or if he ever sees her again. He says he wants her gone. She leaves the room and is stopped by an officer for more questioning. Daniel leaves to go get her another saline pack. Meanwhile Eric remembers the kiss he shared with Nicole in the crawl space. Nicole remembers it also and looks worried.

Chad apologizes to Zoe. He tells her he isn't looking for anything long term, and she says she isn't either. Zoe asks him if he has a confidence problem because he thinks the only reason she would want to be with him is because he is her boss. She tells him she doesn't care that he is still hung up on Abigail. He tells her she has no clue about him and how he feels and kisses her.

Ben and Abigail keep making out. He tells her he loves her and they make love. Ben thinks about Chad and Abigail making love. She asks him what's wrong, but he says everything is fine. He leave to go get something to drink. He convinces himself that she is his now. Abigail has a flash back to Chad and the rose again. Ben tells her she can pay half the rent, and he only wants to make her happy.

Abe and John are at Nicole's office and can't find any evidence still. They say that Eric and Nicole are going to make it, and they may be able to tell them why this happened.

So I really liked how Nicole realizes she loves Daniel and how Eric is thinking about her! This is a good change. I'm so tired of Nicole being mistreated so hopefully she doesn't immediately run back to Eric. What do you think?
