Daniel is asking Serena what is wrong with her. He wonders if it had to do with Nicole and the elephant statue. Serena begs Daniel to leave it alone. Daniel gets a call from Marlena and tells her he is trying to get some information. They hand up. Serena asks him to leave before she calls hotel security. He says he will just call the police. She grabs the phone from him telling him that will make things worse. Daniel tells her to tell him the truth so he can help Eric. Daniel want to know what she smuggled into the U.S. Daniel says he is going to track Eric down and will tell him that she did nothing to help him. Serena runs out the door behind him.
Nicole and Eric are still hiding from Xander. He is screaming insults at Nicole, and saying that he will get her. Nicole asks him what is going on and how he knew to come there. Xander must have opened a different door and not found them. Nicole mentions how the room they are in is hard to find. He tells her he found out about what was going on and that Xander might want to hurt her. He apologizes and hugs her. (I know that soap operas just recycle stories, but seriously it hasn't been that long since Eric and Nicole were hiding out together in the apartment basement!). Xander tells Navidad that they weren't in the closet that he checked.Nicole asks Eric why he is sorry since he saved her from Xander. Eric tells Nicole what he found out about Serena. Nicole tells him that she has known they were up to something for weeks.
Brady tells Maggie about the agreement between him and Theresa.
Theresa is talking to Anne about how Brady is not going to respond to any advances from her anymore. Eve shows up to see Tate, but Theresa tells her she can't go in because Brady is in there. She leaves the hospital with Anne as Eve stares at Marlena. Eve goes into Marlena's office and asks to talk to her.
Paige asks Kayla for a letter of recommendation for a night shift job at a yogurt shop. She tells her she could get a better job at the hospital and Paige doesn't want to run into J.J. or Jennifer. Kayla tells her that he rarely comes to the hospital and that Paige should find someone to talk to about this. Paige assures her she is fine. She says that she is ready to move on and is sure J.J. is already moving on.
Jennifer is telling J.J. that he needs to forget about Paige. Apparently, he turned down going to a party Rory invited him to. J.J. tells her that he has to go, and he thanks her for not giving up on him. She tells him that will never happen.
Theresa and Anne are talking about the Brady situation over frozen yogurt on the park bench. She tells Theresa she will at least have the money from Brady. Theresa says it is about Tate not the money. Theresa tells Anne that she is afraid of being a mother. She says she has no idea what to do with Tate because Kristen took that away from her. She wonders if she will be a terrible mother as Brady listens from behind the wall. Anne tells her to call her mom for help, but Theresa tells her she can't since she isn't going back home. Anne tells her that she will help her raise him, and they will learn together. Theresa says it is really her problem and they should go back to the hospital to see Tate. Theresa is in the hospital singing to Tate, and Brady enters. She gets up to leave and he says they should talk. She tells him she has nothing to say to him ever. She leaves, and Brady tells Tate he will always do what is right for him no matter how her feels.
Eve tells Marlena she made a terrible mistake with Paige and wants to take back what she did. She asks Marlena to help her. Eve wants to set up an appointment with her to talk and get a referral. She asks for an appointment as soon as possible and that she feels like she wants to die, lol. Marlena checks her schedule. Eve pretends to have a coughing fit crying about Paige and Marlena goes to get her some water. Eve looks on her computer for information on Laura. Marlena gets a fake message from Eric that he is fine and they will talk soon. Jennifer enters Marlena's office and finds Eve on her computer. She asks her what she is doing.
J.J. runs into Paige and she asks if he is stalking her. J.J. tells her that he was on his way to the yogurt shop to apply for a job. Paige says that he must have known that she was applying. She tells him that she is sure he was stalking her and she will never believe anything else he says. J.J. tells her she can have the job, and that he is done. Bev comes up and teases Paige about their arguement. Paige tells her she is going to fill her in on what happened. J.J. shows up at the party as Paige tells Bev that J.J. slept with her mom.
Navidad and Xander are in Nicole's office. He finds Eric's phone and finds out Serena must have said something to him. Navidad finds the blueprints to the basement and finds what seems like the room Eric and Nicole are hiding in.
Daniel is knocking on Eric's door and Serena runs up asking if he's home. He asks her what is going on again. She says she can't tell him. Daniel gets a message supposedly from Nicole (but it's really Xander with her phone). Xander sends Daniel a text that says that Eric is driving to Chicago. Daniel asks him where he is and that he wants to come. He then texts Nicole. Daniel gets a text saying that Eric is at a hotel on Michigan Avenue and he texts back that he will meet him there. Serena sees it and says she is coming. Daniel tells her not to follow him and leaves. She says she has to see Eric again and follows Daniel.
Nicole tells Eric her plan and how she found out about Xander. She tells him she didn't tell him earlier because she didn't think he would believe her. Nicole says she just had to find out what was going on to protect him. Eric says he owes her a big apology. He tells her that he is so sorry. She tells him he didn't do anything but trust someone. Nicole tells him because of their past she couldn't have come to him to tell him about Serena. Xander and Navidad have found the correct room and try to get in the door!
So, I really don't want Nicole and Eric to end up kissing or anything like that while they are trapped. I do like them together, but I want her to give him a hard time with them getting back together. I am curious as to how they will get out of their predicament now that Xander has sent all of the fake text messages! What do you think?
