Today shows how Paige and J.J. will leave things and also how Melanie will deal with Theresa. 
J.J. runs into Paige in the square. She agrees that maybe they should talk. She goes over him cheating with her mom and then decides they shouldn't talk. J.J. claims to have an answer for how he could do what he did. He talks about how he was trying to turn his life around and he met and fell in love with her. He thought he had already changed and put his mistakes behind him. He says he had things good until her mom came into town.
Eve tells Jennifer it is her fault her life is destroyed. Jennifer calls her pathetic. Eve says Jennifer shouldn't have blackmailed her. Jennifer admits that she knew she was wrong. She tells Eve to leave J.J. alone. Eve tells Jennifer she is being played by J.J. and that she hopes he burns in hell. She throws a picture frame of J.J. on the ground and breaks it.
Paul gets a knock on his hotel door. It's Sonny, and he tells him he never stopped loving him. It's a dream of course. He goes to the hospital and see Marlena there. They talk about John and their affair. Paul says he isn't going to pretend that he doesn't love Sonny.
Sonny arrives at his apartment and gets a phone call from Will. He is worried because he didn't answer the phone. Will missed their first therapy session because of a meeting with Zoe. Sonny tells him to come home. Sonny tells Will the appointment was rescheduled as he arrives at the apartment.
Theresa is talking to Anne about what happened with Melanie and Brady and the baby. Theresais getting discharged and wants to see Tate. The nurse tells her it will be a while. She says she will go take a shower and come back. Anne tells her that she made a mistake with Melanie. Anne says Melanie isn't going to leave. Theresa says if she doesn't then she has no choice but to move.
Melanie tells Brady she is going to Europe and leaving Salem in a few hours. She says she is the only thing standing in between Brady and Tate, and she doesn't want to. Of course he doesn't want her to go, but she tells him she is leaving because she loves him. She tells him to focus on his son, and that she doesn't want Theresa to make their lives miserable. She can't be the cause of his child suffering. (So, she is just going to leave her job just like that also? Plus how much is a same day ticket to any country in Europe? Let's just say this is crazy....). He wants her to stay in town so they can fight back. She doesn't want to, and they keep going back and forth. She asks him not to be mad at her as they both cry. She asks him to wait at the apartment for her while she goes to do something before she leaves. (I guess a long distance relationship is out of the question. With all the money Brady has, he could visit her every weekend. If you can't tell, I hate that they brought back Brady and Theresa's baby for this horrible story line.).
Maggie arrives at Daniel's apartment and see Brady. She asks him what's wrong. He says Melanie should be the one to tell her, and she will be back later. Maggie asks if she should leave, and Brady says probably. She says that Melanie was talking to them about family and it felt like she was saying goodbye. She asks Brady why she would leave. They talk about Melanie, and Brady says that they have to let her go.
Melanie arrives at Theresa's apartment and tells her that she got what she wanted. She is leaving Salem. Theresa invites her in. Melanie said she understood what Theresa meant and she hopes that she stops using her son as a weapon. She tells her it will smack her in the face soon that she has lost as Theresa smugly shakes her head. She says she hasn't lost. She admits what she did and says that she hasn't lost. Melanie tells her that Brady will always hate her. Theresa thinks he will get over it. Melanie says she might have gotten what she wanted if she had left things alone. Theresa kicks her out. Before she leaves, Melanie tells her to be good to Tate as he might be the only one in the world who doesn't hate her. Theresa smiles victoriously. (Not sure where the scheming Melanie went, but I would have thought she would try to come up with a plan or something. She could have recorded Theresa admitting using Tate to keep them apart, but maybe that wouldn't have mattered anyway. Stupid, stupid story line). Theresa celebrates. Melanie arrives back at the apartment and asks Maggie where Daniel and Parker are. She says she will go and get them. Melanie tells Brady he told Theresa. Brady says that he hates Theresa. Melanie asks him if he hates her also.
J.J. says it was all his fault but when her mom get back she kept telling him he wasn't good enough for her. He says it freaked him out that he was just like his dad. That is when everything started. He says the lies came so easy because he realized that he had changed. He was too afraid to admit he was still the same bad guy. He thought as long as he had Paige it meant he was a good guy. He tells her that he still is in love with her and would do anything to keep her in his life. He tells her this is the only kind of love he knows and that he can't go on without her. Paige says she didn't need him to be a saint. She only needed him to be honest and is sorry if he has self esteem issues but he can go to hell. She walks away.
Jennifer tells Eve to get out of her office. They argue. She tells Eve that Paige came by earlier. Eve asks her what she told her. They argue some more. Eve says that Paige made J.J. not worthless. Jennifer says if Paige never talks to her again, it would be the best thing for her. Eve lounges at Jennifer! Eric comes in and breaks things up. Eve tells Jennifer they both made mistakes and she hopes she loses J.J. also before she leaves. Eric asks her if there is anything he can do, and Jennifer says no. He tells her to be careful with Eve before he leaves. Eve is in the park calling Paige again and leaving a message. She is determined that Jennifer and J.J. will pay.
Will asks if Ari is at the sitters because he wants to try something before counseling. It is a list of things to try that he found online. Sonny thinks that they are small things and he reads one that says be honest. They agree to start with honesty for an hour for each of them. Sonny asks him what happened to his Taylor Swift t-shirt and Will tells him he threw it away, lol. Really Sonny!? Then he asks Will why he really didn't come to the counseling session, and Will says he had a meeting so he wouldn't have to go because he was scared. He didn't want Sonny to find more reasons to leave him. Will admits that he screwed up so many times that counseling will just point it out more and he will leave him. Sonny tells him that won't happen. Will has to leave but they have time for one more question. He asks Sonny if he is still in love with PAul.
He asks Marlena if an outcome makes it OK for certain choices to be made. She says some things happen for a reason. She brings up how he didn't know he would find both Sonny and his father in Salem. Some things are beyond our control. She walks away. He asks Anne where Theresa is and she tells him she left. She tells him the baby is back and he goes over to look at him through the window.
