Eve Gets What She Wants from Marlena and Clyde Finds Out About Chad and Abigail

Here is the recap: J.J is talking on the phone to Bev and tells her he will meet her in the park in 30 minutes. Jennifer overhears and tells him she knows what he is doing. She tells him he is moving too fast. He disagrees. She doesn't want him to date Bev. He says she is always happy to see him. Jennifer tells him they need to finish this conversation on her way to work, but he doesn't want to. He tells her he isn't just going to hang around the house all summer, and he feels like he is going insane. She tells him to never say that again. He apologizes, and she tells him to never say that again because of her mom. J.J. says she has it together now, and Jennifer talks about how hard it was. She tells him she is there for him, and he starts a new job tomorrow. She doesn't want him to do anything wrong, and he agrees. He leaves.




Paige is meeting an older guy from her app and telling Daphne who says he is too old. She doesn't care, and she says he will be there any moment. She asks her to move. Her date walks up, and he isn't as old as she thought he was. She tells him it isn't going to work out. He tries to stay, but she pushes him away. He leaves. Paige tells Daphne he just wasn't right for her. She opens her tablet to start over.

Eve is still trying to get information on Laura, Jennifer's mom. She asks Anne when Theresa is coming to work, and Anne isn't sure. Eve wants to know if she's quit her job yet, and Anne says not yet. She asks Eve if she is afraid she will end up supporting her. MArlena walks up and tells Eve they were supposed to be meeting now. Eve says she lost track of time and only has one small thing to take care of. She tells Anne to tell Theresa to text her when she gets there. Eve gets to Marlena's office, and Marlena says she has a few more questions like what Eve did. Eve tells her it is hard to talk about it to anyone who knows Jennifer's family so well. She says she knows she goes back with her family since she helped Laura. Marlena says she can't discuss that and asks about her feelings. Eve says she wants Paige back and will do whatever it takes.

Brady tells Theresa to go to work, and she says she wants to be a full time mother to Tate and not work. He tells her she won't be a full time mom because he has it in the contract. He has his own time with Tate alone. He tells her he isn't supporting her and if she quits she will have no money. Theresa says she shouldn't slave away at the hospital, and everyone there hates her. He tells her to go find something else then, but don't quit. He tells her the living situation is only temporary. He says he will pay for a nanny and everything that Tate needs. He won't be giving her money for herself. The nanny comes in and says it's time for the baby's bottle. Brady stops Theresa and says he will be giving it to him. Theresa storms off.

Clyde finds out Stefano is back in town and is saying he won't have a problem dealing with him.

Stefano is telling someone to keep doing their job, and Abigail and Chad will come around.

Abigail and Ben kiss in the square, and Chad sees them. He starts to walk away and Ben asks him if he was going to say hello. He speaks to them. Ben asks him how he is, and Chad asks him if he cares. Ben apologizes and says that they should try to keep things simple between them. Ben tells Chad that Abigail is moving in, and Chad congratulates them. He tells Ben to be good to her, and he says he plans to. Chad leaves, and Ben has a flashback to finding out about their affair.

Clyde shows up at Ben's apartment, and he tells him Abigail is moving in. Clyde asks him if he celebrating, and Ben says now Abigail is all his. Clyde asks him what'g going on. Ben doesn't want to tell him, but he insists. He tells him he installed that app and followed Abigail to the Dimera mansion and overheard that they had slept together.

Abigail tells Jennifer that she is moving in with Ben. She tells her she isn't upset but wonders why she doesn't seem happy. She says she is happy but thought that Jennifer wouldn't be. Jennifer says Ben is a good man, and tells her she has a letter that came for her from Ireland. Abigail smiles. She reads that the woman who took care of her in Ireland has had a bad turn in her health. She cries as she reads the letter.

Chad walks into the study to talk to Stefano. He asks him why he is back now. Stefano makes a move on the chess board with a smile. Stefano says he only wants to be with him. Chad again asks why now. He tells him he doesn't believe him. He says he knows he is there because of Abigail.

Brady finishes with the bottle and Hailey enters. She tells Brady he is a good dad, and he gets a phone call. Hailey takes Tate out and answers a call from John. He wants to stop by to talk. Brady tells him he will meet him at TBD instead.

Theresa arrives at the hospital. She tells Anne that Brady won't let her quit. She complains to Anne. Anne tells her that Eve needs to see her immediately. Anne wonders how they both coexist in the same family and walks away.

Marlena recommends two therapists that are men. Eve says she wants to see a woman. Marlena gives her another name, and Eve asks if she is judgmental. Marlena says she will come up with a list, but Eve wants to come up with someone right now. She tells her she is comfortable with her, and gets a text from Theresa. She tells Marlena it could be Paige and she will be right back. She tells Theresa she needs her help, and asks her for Anne's set of master keys. She says it will benefit her with payback to Jennifer. She tells her she also needs Marlena's schedule. Theresa gives Eve Anne's keys and says Marlena has a staff meeting in five minutes. Theresa tells Anne that Eve just wanted a favor. Anne goes over to see what Theresa is doing, and she is shopping instead of working. She tells her she has no money, and she needs to grow up. She walks away. Eve tells Marlena she called Paige and it wasn't her. She says no one will be able to help her. She starts crying. Marlena gets a phone call and tells Eve she can cancel her meeting if she needs to talk. Eve asks to sit there and pull herself together, and Marlena tells her she can. She leaves, and Eve grabs the keys. She unlocks the drawer with the very first key (what!?). The file is in the first drawer as well., The whole process takes 2 seconds. Eve starts to leave and literally runs into Jennifer and drops the file. They both look down at it, and then stare at each other!

J.J. makes it to the park with Bev. They sit down and she takes off his shirt. She starts to take hers off, but her friend comes over and says someone is looking for her. He sits down and says that he realized that he is J.J. after he met him last night. He asks him about his past as a dealer, and J.J. tells him that was the past. Someone is watching him from behind a tree. Bev comes back and says that person didn't need to talk to her. J.J. and Bev leave, and a guy peaks from around the bushes. They go to the square to eat, and she asks her how she knows Kyle. J.J. says it seems like he wants something from him. The guy who was watching J.J. tells someone on the phone he was talking to Kyle.

Daphne asks Paige what kind of guy he is looking for. Brady tells John about Tate at TBD, He tells John that Theresa moved in with Tate. Brady promises Theresa will not get to him ever again. Paige tells Daphne that Brady would work or someone his age or John's age. Daphne asks her is she is trying to get back at her mom or J.J. Paige tells her she will see.

Brady arrives back at the mansion and hugs Tate. He tells him he is the most important guy in their life. Theresa sees a couple that was upset that their kid had fallen off the slide, but they hug and smile suggesting he is OK. A nurse tells her they were fighting just last year, and Theresa deduces that a big scare brings people together.

I love that Jennifer catches Eve. I hated this story line. so I hope it stops here! Also, I wonder what is going on with that guy who is watching J.J. What do you think?
