Brady Has a Surprise for Theresa and Chad Dismisses Abigail

Here is the recap for today's episode!

Brady enters the hospital and runs into Jennifer. He is excited about being able to take Tate home. She tells him she is sorry about Melanie and he doesn't want to talk about it. Jennifer tells him she has to go mail her mom's gift and Brady asks how she is. Jennifer tells him she is doing fine and leaves. Brady is on the phone asking someone to bring something to the hospital to stay one step ahead of Theresa. The person he was speaking to arrives at the hospital and asks if Theresa is there yet.

Eve is trying to come up with something to get Jennifer back. She tries to find information on Laura. Paige comes up behind her.

Teresa goes to see J.J. and tease him about the affair with Eve. She tells him that he is trash and disgusting. She tells him that things are looking up for her. J.J. tells her that he feels bad for her baby for having her as a mother. He says that she is just going to use the baby to get what she wants. He tells her that Brady hates her guts. She tells him that Brady will come around unlike Paige. He wants to know what Paige said, but she has to leave to get Tate. 

Ben calls Abigail and tells her he only wants her to be happy. She tells him she loves him as Chad walks up. He overhears and Abigail gets off the phone. She apologizes to Chad and he says there is no need since he kept her waiting originally. He says he is buried in work and wants to know what she wants. She says they should talk about what happened. He asks her if she wants to talk about it or does she just want to do it again. She says that is not why she came. Chad says he got what he wanted, and all he wanted was to know that she wanted him badly. He says it was all a game for him. He told her he told her he loved her to get her in bed. He asks her if E.J. taught her all the stuff she did in bed. He talks about how she humiliated him, and now he has done the same to her. He calls her a slut and she slaps him. 

Paige is at the club and is approached by a guy. She tells him to get lost. Rory comes up and says he likes the new Paige. He brings up J.J. and Eve and then apologizes. She asks if he has told anyone about the affair and he says no. She wants him to tell everyone and leaves.

Ben thinks about Abigail pulling away from his kiss and calls Clyde to ask him about the app name again. He says he thinks something is going on with her.

Part Two

Paige asks her what she is up to and Eve says nothing. She tries to apologize, but Paige tells her to shut up. She only has one thing to say and then they are done for good. She tells her she got the check to cover her at Stanford and then she tells her she doesn't need her money either. She tears it up, but Eve tells her not to be ridiculous. They argue about it. Paige tells her not to ever call her and walks away. 

Jennifer arrives home and asks how J.J. is doing. He says good and that he going to hang out with Rory. He asks to sign his grandma's card and tells her she is so good to her family. She disagrees. He tells her the situation with Paige was his fault, and he has to deal with the consequences that he has lost her. J.J. and Jennifer talk about the situation and he tells her he tried to get Daniel to help him with Paige. He says that now he knows there is no hope. He tells her about running into both Paige and Theresa. He finally takes responsibility for what he did. Jennifer hugs him and tells him things will get better. He doesn't see that right now and leaves. He meets up with Rory who says that he needs to lighten up. Paige comes back and the guy who hit on her before comes back up to her. She tells him that he has no chance with her. J.J. comes over and asks him to leave. Paige thanks him for rescuing her because that guy was so old and it would be totally disgusting to hook up with someone his age. She walks out. Rory tells J.J. that Paige seems to be a different person and even wants him to tell everyone about her and J.J. He says she is scary now. Paige is back at her dorm trying to figure out how she can make what happened today work for her. 

Theresa arrives at the hospital and is told she can take Tate home in the morning. The doctor ensures both her and Brady that everything is OK. Brady tells her they need to get a few things straight. He introduces her to the lady who is a notary. He lets her know they have legal issues. She tells him she isn't signing anything without a lawyer, and he tells her all the custody things will be handled tomorrow. She asks him what this is about, and he tells her that it is just an agreement that they will both remain in Salem for the first year of Tate's life. Theresa calls her lawyer and he says it's OK for her to sign it. She signs it and so does Brady. The notary takes the paperwork and leaves. Theresa tries to tell Brady this is going to ber a new beginning for them. He tells her not in the way that she thinks and he is no longer putting up with her lies. (If he was smart, he could have Melanie come back now that Theresa has signed the legal document....)

Chad asks her why she is so worked up since he came there to end it. She asks why he is being so cruel and he says it is because he is a Dimera and cruel is in his DNA. She storms off and Stephano enters and demands to know what he is doing! They argue and Chad says love is overrated. He doesn't want to tie himself down. Stefano says he did that just to defy him. Stefano wants to know how that defies him. Chad tells him he knows something else is up and walks away. He enters the study and falls on his knees. He has flashbacs to Abigail and admits he never stopped lovikng her. 

Abigail meets up with Ben and he asks her if she is alright. She hugs him. Ben asks her what is going on and she says it's the thing with J.J. She says it reminds her of the mistakes that she's made. He tells her mistakes are a part of being human. She tells him that part of her life is all over. She gets a message and he tells her to read it. She says it's the phone company. Ben tells her he saw Joey in the kitchen and she leaves leaving her phone on the table. (Why she would leave her phone after that text and all the others with Chad, IDK. Hopefully it's at least locked.)  He grabs it and tries to download the app. Abigail comes back and he slams the phone down. She tells Ben that he means so much to her and thanks him for being patient and kind. He tells her he isn't a saint, but she insists that she is so lucky and kisses him. 

Eve and Jennifer run into each other and Eve brings up J.J. and how he kept coming back for more. Jennifer tells her if she ever hurts him again she will destroy her. Jennifer is on the phone with her mom asking her what she is doing for her birthday. Meanwhile Eve is thinking about how to find out more about Laura's breakdown.

I think today's episode was supposed to be a big shocker, but it fell kind of flat for me. Chad overacted way too much. Brady is still not smart enough and we know this little bit of smartness that he has won't last long. Plus Eve is beyond disgusting bragging to Jennifer about sleeping with J.J. I wish they would have just had Paige on more. She has been really good in these last few episodes and I can't wait to see what she does next. As far Eve trying to get Jennifer back, I'm tired of that. She always does the same stuff. She needs to leave Salem! What do you think?
