Serena is Questioned by Police and Stefano Reveals His Return

Here is today's recap:

Kate sits down for a meeting with Clyde and it's Stefano that is waiting for her! She asks how he managed that, and she says she is calling the police. She calls them. Stefano sips his tea and teases Kate. Kate tells Stefano she has moved on and Hope and a police escort arrive.

John calls Roman to check on Eric and Nicole. Roman hangs up and asks Serena has she spoken to Eric. She hopes they find Xander. He asks her if she knows why Xander would do this. Serena just says that Roman has to find Xander. Roman is confused. John and Abe approach Roman and tell him he can go see Eric. Abe has more questions for Serena. He tells her to take a few minutes to calm down and then they will talk.

Victor approaches Xander and tells him he has to pay the price now. He tells him no one will hear his final words. He tells him his plan failed. Xander denies it, but Victor says he knows better. He talked to Daniel who said that Xander was still pursuing Nicole. Victor tells him that he knew he was leaving town. Xander tells him the police will never be able to connect him to the crime and Victor will be safe. Victor says he isn't worried about the police.

Eric daydreams about Nicole as Marlena enters the room. He asks her how Nicole is. He is trying to get up with Roman enters the room. Roman asks him what happened, and Eric tells him it was Xander. John enters to question Eric so Roman can question Nicole for protocol. Marlena asks to stay and Eric says that is fine.

Nicole remembers kissing Eric and wakes up shaking her head. Daniel asks her what's wrong. She says she was having a dream, and she needs to see Eric. Daniel tells her to relax. She asks him how he found her. He tells her what happened. He asks her if she remembers anything. She looks confused, and he hugs her. He tells her everything is OK, and she says that isn't true. He asks her if Xander hurt her in any other way, and she says that he strangled her. She tells him she was alone in the building and then she got the call from Daniel. She tells him how Xander reacted and what he did. She tells him that he and Serena were smuggling blood diamonds. She also tells him Xander was in prison for murder before as well. Daniel tells her he never could have imagined that. She tells him how she found out and that the charges were reduced. Daniel realizes that it must have been Victor.

Hope and Rafe can't seem to let things go with Clyde. They discuss it at the pub. Rafe says that Victor may handle him eventually. He tells her to stay away from Clyde to keep her family safe. She says she already promised she would stay away and asks him if he still will. He says he will because of the threats that Clyde had made to Will. Hope gets a call that Stefano is in Salem.

Part Two:

Hope goes to arrest Stefano. He tells her she most have been so eager to arrest him that she didn't check with the station. Hope says she is doing that now and calls the station. She finds out that Stefano is not there illegally. He tells her she can now focus on the true criminals of Salem like Clyde or Victor.

Daniel says he can't believe that Victor would clear Xander. Nicole tells Daniel that she just needed to have proof the whole time, and that's why she hadn't told him what was going on. Daniel is grateful that Eric was there. Roman walks in to get a statement and tells Daniel that Abe wants to get his. He asks her what happened. She tells him what happened. She thinks about kissing Eric again but doesn't mention it. Daniel comes in and tells her to get her rest. Roman tells her next time she is investigating a criminal she should call the police, and Nicole agrees. She thanks Daniel for getting rid of Roman. Daniel tells her he has to go finish his statement and kisser her before he leaves. He asks Roman if he's found Xander.

Meanwhile Eric is being questioned by John. Marlena goes to get him an extra ice pack and gives John a look. John says now that he doesn't have to worry about upsetting Marlena he can talk. He tells John about Serena and Xander. He tells him he went to tell Nicole and the rest of what happened there. John asks him if there is anything else and he says no leaving out the kiss. John leaves and tells him to take care of himself. He goes out and see Marlena. He asks her how she is doing and tells her that everything is going to be OK. He asks if they are going to be OK as well. He apologizes to her, and she asks him how things are with Paul. He tells her they are better, and she is glad. She tells him that she has never stopped loving him and he feels the same.

Kate runs into Rafe and tells him Stefano is headed to jail. He tells her that Stefano cut a deal and is not illegally there. Rafe tells him he found a way to make the charges disappear and wonders why he waited until now to do so.


Serena asks Marlena how Eric was, and she says fine but no thanks to her. Marlena tells her that she knew Eric was in trouble and she never said a word. She tells her to stay away from Eric forever and walks away. Abe enters and asks her if she is ready to talk about Xander. Daniel enters and says Serena may not answer the questions but he will. He tells Abe what was going on. Abe goes over and asks Serena to start talking. She says she wants a lawyer first.

Victor tells Xander that he can't deceive him and just get away with it. He says that he isn't why Victor has a problem with what he did. Victor tells him that he doesn't know his place. Xander says nothing he does for him is ever enough. Victor asks him if he did this because he felt slighted. Xander says he did it to protect him because Nicole had found out about a transaction that he was doing for him. Victor says he is sorry he didn't just leave him in prison. He asks Xander if it's true that he would give his life for him and he says it is. Victor says so be it. Victors thugs prepare to cut Xander's throat.

Nicole wakes up as Eric enters her room!

Today's episode was amazing! I really liked how the story flowed. It was so much better than the past few days. I especially liked the way it ended with Eric finally going in to see Nicole! What did you think?
