Victor is seen on the phone arguing with someone right before Maggie and Daniel come in and ask him what is going on. Daniel says he used Rafe's FBI contacts to figure out a little information. Victor says all he knows in addition is that Kristen is dead and was either pushed or fell, but her body hasn't been recovered. (or course not, she's a Dimera!)
Theresa and Melanie are brought back to the Italian mansion. Theresa is going crazy wanting to know where the baby is and the government representative assures here he is fine. Because of all of the evidence Brady is not being charged but there is still a chance for Marlena, as there isn't much evidence.
Chad has a flashback about the conversation with Abigail before entering the study to find Stephano sitting there with a photo of Kristen. He tells him about Kristen and says they will need each other more than ever now. They reminisce about Kristen before Stephano tells Chad he might here some things about her but to only listen to what he says! (Right, because he is so trustworthy and honest). Abigail knocks on the study door and Chad panics because she can't see Stephano. He goes to the door and irritatingly tells her he can't talk right now, but when he looks back in the room Stephano is gone.
Serena goes to see Xander. They argue, yet again, while Xander begins to flirt with her. She tells him she wants nothing to do with him and will be glad when this is all over.
Nicole has a flashback to overhearing Serena arguing with Xander on the phone. She decides to call Eric and asks him to meet her at her office. He arrives all smiles with a gift that he found for her earlier that day. He wants to know what she called him for first. They agree that they are now friends. She tells him to show her what he brought first, and it turns out to be a photo of her. She is cheered up and tells Eric so.
Serena asks Xander if he only wants to stay to punish her and threatens him before she leaves. She decides that it would be best for her and Eric to get out of Salem ASAP!
Caroline is back from her trip and sees a newspaper article about Will. She rushes over to talk to them and they have a moment.
Back in Italy they are setting everything up for a departure as there is no real evidence to keep Marlena there either. Brady gets a phone call on the government official's phone and it's Victor. He puts him on speaker so Maggie and Daniel can be reassured that everyone is OK. They will talk more when he gets back. Once the call is over, Victor says to himself he already knows the bad news about the baby!
Nicole decides to tell Eric about a misunderstanding with her and Daniel and mentions that sometimes it's OK to keep what you know to yourself. Eric goes on about how happy he is with Serena and how being with her helped him let go of his anger. He gets a phone call and leaves. Nicole is left wondering what to do and goes out for some air.
Theresa hands the baby to Marlena to thank Melanie. They are able to finally leave and the official has arranged for Theresa and Brady to sit together with the baby on the flight. Melanie calls Daniel and MAggie to reassure them before the flight takes off. She talks to Marlena about the baby while Brady stops the baby from crying while Theresa beams at him saying he will be a great dad. We all know what this is leading up to, of course.
Eric goes to see Daniel and they talk about Nicole and their problems...(weird).
Serena calls someone to respond to a job in Honolulu and says she will take the job. Nicole overhears her trying to get out of Salem! She tells her she isn't taking Eric away and that she knows what she is up to.
Victor calls Stephano to let him know he's sorry about Kristen. He also tells him to understand it isn't about his grandson who did this to Stephano's daughter. He hangs up and calls Xander to come over right away. Once he arrives, Victor tells him he needs him to stay in Salem to help Brady and Xander agrees.
So really today just wrapped up the ordeal in Italy and gave Xander a reason to stay. Overall, an OK episode. Nicole and Serena will argue but Nicole has no proof so nothing will happen. I really hope Nicole gets a break soon. She has been knowing Serena is up to something since she first arrived in Salem. This story is waaay to slow, as is any story having to do with Nicole. Anyway, what do you think?
