Chad Gets Through to Stefano and Ben Overhears Some Interesting Information!

So it seems like a lot is going on today, yay! Let's get down to it.

Chad is trying to call Stefano as he has his goons try to get Marlena out of the window! Abe apparently got a tip yesterday and is there telling Chad to call. Chad keeps calling, but Stefano ignores it. He tells the men to go ahead and throw her out of the window. Really, how can she be stronger than two men!? Roman tells Chad to keep trying as him and Abe go to search the mansion. Marlena begs him to stop. Stefano answers the phone and tells Chad he is busy. Chad hears Marlena and tells him he will not let him do this to her. Stefano says it needs to be done. Chad urges him not to do it, especially after what Kristen did. Stefano says Chad can’t stop him, but Chad says he is the only child he has left. Chad says if he does this, he will no longer be his son. He begs him not to do it. He tells him he will devote his entire life to ensure that everyone knows what Stefano does if he continues. He says he despises what Kristen did, and he will hold Stefano responsible for this. He will end the Dimera family.

Ben is talking to Abigail about doing well in school. Abigail asks about him deciding to get the name change. They argue about him changing his name. Abigail says she guess it is OK. He asks her if something has changed since it seems she has objections. Abigail says they are supposed to be together and now he does this. He asks her what is going on and if she is embarrassed. It’s not like he’s changing his last name to Dimera.

Clyde’s goony must have given Will a lot of information about Poplar Bluff. Will thanks him, but he says just information on Poplar Bluff isn’t enough. He needs more information on Clyde himself. Will says it seems like everyone thinks highly of Clyde, but the goony says they could just be scared to tell him the truth. He says that Will should be asking questions to get the truth.

Xander leaves the hotel right before Nicole shows up. Serena is there and says Nicole must be early for her appointment with Xander. Nicole tells her she is there to get quotes from family members about what happened in Italy. Serena doesn’t believe her and offers to call Eric. Xander comes out and asks why she is still there. She makes up an excuse and gets a text from Daniel. She says she has to go. Xander walks her out and tells her not to forget what they discussed. Xander tells Nicole she should have called before she came, because he doesn’t like surprises.

Theresa wakes up after the transfer and Brady is right beside her bed. She asks about the baby and Brady promises to keep him safe. Brady tells her it seems the transplant went well but they have to stay for a few days for monitoring. He thanks her for going through this for their son. She insinuates that she is becoming a better person (gag!). Theresa asks Brady if he could stay with her until she can hold the baby.

Daniel is going to the hospital and asks Melanie to come with him. She doesn’t thinks that is a good idea. (OK, this sounds just like last time, boring!). Melanie says Brady and Theresa were serious about not wanting family and friends hovering around. Daniel says that doesn’t apply to her. She is the reason they have the baby back. He tells her to think about it and leaves. Brady talks to Daniel about how they wanted to be alone and asks if he thinks Melanie understood. Melanie shows up at the hospital and they hug. Brady tells her that text didn’t apply to her, and he tells her to go in to see his son. She gives Brady a gift for the baby. Theresa tells Melanie she is happy to see her.

Nicole says she will take the note that he doesn’t like people just stopping by. He says Serena won’t say anything. Nicole asks about their relationship, but he diverts her to talk about their relationship instead. He tells her he saw her and Daniel’s argument. Xander says that he and Nicole don’t have much to say except goodbye now. She tells him she might still have feelings for Daniel, but it isn’t going to work. She says she wants to have fun, and that she thought he was interested and nice. He tells her if it really is over with Daniel and she can keep things private that sounds good. He offers to order champagne. Nicole agrees. She eyes his cell phone. She flirts with him, and asks if he is sure Serena will keep her mouth shut. He is. She offers to put a picture of him on his phone so he can think about this moment. She takes a picture and pretends to have hurt her leg. He offers to go get her some ice. She jumps up and grabs the phone.

Theresa tells Melanie that she and Brady talked and she wants to tell her something. They decided on a name for the baby and would have named her Melanie, but since the baby is a boy decided to just give him his own name-Tate. It means cheerful and happiness. They named him that in honor of Melanie. Melanie looks at the baby with Brady as Theresa fake smiles. Melanie leaves the hospital. Brady takes out a ring and smiles. Theresa is holding her baby and says Brady will be right back. She says they will never be separated once they leave the hospital.

Stefano tells Chad he is imagining things, and Marlena’s family will hear from her soon. Chad tells Roman and Abe he thinks he got through to Stefano and walks out saying he has a meeting. Stephanie has his men let Marlena go. Marlena calls Roman and tells him she is OK and will be home tonight. He tries to ask her what happened, but Stefano takes the phone away from her. He asks if she remembers the last time they were on a plane together. She has a flashback. She tells him he is doing the right thing, and he disagrees. He tells her she owes her life to Chad.

Serena goes to see Daniel. She wants to know what he wanted, and he tells her it is about Xander. Daniel is confused about Serena and Xander’s relationship. She says it isn’t that she doesn’t like Xander, but Eric liked him better. Daniel asks why she didn’t seem comfortable around Xander. He wants to know what’s going on with him. Serena tells him she doesn’t want to talk about it. She apologizes for getting upset. Daniel asks her what it is she isn’t saying. Serena says for him to talk to Nicole if he wants to know because she is with him right now. Nicole finds a picture of the elephant on Xander’s phone!

Will asks what he is saying, and he tells Will Clyde was an SOB! He says Clyde put his kids through hell and drank a lot. He tells Will to tell people who Clyde really was. After he leaves, Will looks at his family photo and says he can’t. Will tries to get on the last flight for the night.

Abigail says they should talk later and Ben agrees. He walks away. She runs into Chad and asks why he is upset. He tells her she deserves so much better than him and walks away. Ben sees them and walks away.

So I'm not sure how I feel about the whole Ben, Abigail, and Chad situation. I'm tired honestly of how Abigail is always bouncing around from one person to another. I would rather see her settle down a little. However, I can't wait to see what happens when Stefano arrives in Salem with Marlena!
