First Abigail goes into the Dimera study to try to talk to Chad about their previous conversation last night. Instead he gives her a blank stare and hugs her. He apologizes as he goes to look at a framed photo of Kristen.
At the diner, Clyde tells Ben to be more careful with people like Will. They talk about why Will would want to write an article on him. He tells Ben that Will may want to question him about things from his past that he wouldn't want Abigail or anyone to find out. Ben offers to talk to Will, but Clyde says it is best not to.
Will calls and says the information received about Paul is useless and complains about having to write the article on Clyde. He doesn't want to go to Poplar Bluff and says he will go only if he can come back the same day. Kate comes over to try to talk him out of it saying he needs to concentrate on his marriage to Sonny, which is true! However, she is only doing it for Clyde and Will knows. He tells her to go report back that he is doing the article anyway. After Kate leaves, Will leaves as well. He sees Ben in the square and asks him if he wants to grab a coffee. Ben declines and walks away leaving Will to stare after him.
Victor meets with Xander at the mansion and asks him to stay for Brady. Xander agrees. He asks him how his business is going in Salem. He tells Xander he needs him to do what he wants when he wants, especially after all that he has done for him. Xander agrees and Victor talks about how much he loves and will do anything for this family. Maggie walks in and wants to know what they were talking about.
Nicole tells Serena that Eric isn't leaving Salem, and she knows what she is up to. They have an argument and Serena tries to dismiss her. Nicole objects that Eric's family will not just let him leave. Serena tells Nicole to stay out of their business and worry about Daniel and leaves.
Daniel and Eric talk. Eric tells Daniel he feels responsible, but Daniel says the problem is mostly his because he always takes things out on Nicole. He tells Eric he loves Nicole. Eric says he only wants Nicole to be happy. Daniel says Nicole may not be over Eric, but Eric disagrees. He tells Daniel that in relationships, we should just except people the way they are.
Kate and Clyde meet up and she tells him that Will is still going to write the article. Kate says she will monitor and tells Clyde that someone else take over the magazine and she thinks it is Victor. Clyde disagrees saying Victor wouldn't do that. Kate gets a phone call from someone saying that the magazine was actually taken over by Stephano!
Chad says he can't tell her what's going on. She begs him to tell her. He asks her why she's even there. Chad gets a phone call from Stephano who tells him to make sure he doesn't tell anyone what happened. Chad tells her it was a business phone call, but she demands to know what is going on. He tells her after she left, he is sure she ran back to Ben and that they have nothing left to talk about.
Victor tells Maggie says they were talking about business. Maggie invites him over for dinner sometime. She wants to talk to Victor after Xander leaves. Victor tells her he didn't know anyone else would be with Brady and that he had people watching him. She says Brady needs to learn to deal with things on his own, but Victor disagrees.
Nicole is in the square and decides to talk to Xander some more to get more information. Daniel comes up and apologizes for going crazy before. He lets her know everyone is OK in Italy. He asks her out for dinner. Nicole sees Xander standing across the square and loudly declines.
Eric meets Serena at the hospital and she tells him about Honolulu. She asks him to leave with her and he wants to know what the rush is. He can't leave right now. She says she guesses she can stall them for a few days.
After having a flashback to seeing Chad instead of Ben in bed, Abigail tells him she knows he wants more and feels bad for how upset he is about it. He blows up and says everything isn't about her and that is not what is going on right now. He says she always thinks its about her and asks her to leave so she does. Afterwards, Stephano tells Chad that he must leave as well.
Yep. That's it. This has to have been the most boring episode in at least a month. It was horrible. Just the characters talking about things that change nothing or provide little insight on anything. The entire show could have just been Kate getting the phone call about Stephano taking over the company. What do you think?
