Justin showed up at Sonny and Will's apartment to see Sonny. Will isn't there. He asks Sonny if he knows where Adrian is and he does not. Sonny asks him why he came back and he tells him he went to see Paul. Sonny gets upset as Justin tries to explain why.
Lucas and Adrian meet up to talk at his hotel. They talk about Kate and what is going on between them. Lucas wonders what will happen when Justin returns and suggests that he would rather them be friends than to have something blow up. He asks her what she wants and she kisses him.
Will goes to see Aiden about Clyde. Aiden says he doesn't want to talk to him about Clyde, and Will mentions that it seems like Clyde is hiding something since no one will talk to him. Aiden tells Will to get out. In the park clearing, Will is on the phone telling someone that none of the information on Paul had any bit, but he is told to concentrate on Clyde instead and focus on going to Poplar Bluff. He hangs up and Rafe overhears. Rafe tells him he should try to get out of the article because Clyde is dangerous. He emphasizes that he shouldn't do it for it his daughter's sake and leaves.
Clyde and Kate are talking over a meal about why Stefano would be behind the article. Kate mentions that he probably wants to get back at her and is using Clyde to do so. Clyde asks if she is truly over Stefano and Kate says she is. He says that they may be able to turn it around on Stephano before Kate leaves for a meeting. Clyde calls someone and tells them to roll out the red carpet for Will when he gets to Poplar Bluff.
Nicole is in the square telling Daniel that they can't start over. She makes sure he gets the point as Xander looks on in the distance. She tells him to get out of her face and he leaves. She glances back at Daniel before she walks away.
Rafe and Hope are sitting at the dinner talking about Sonny and Will and how it could effect Gabby. She suggests he get a good lawyer like Aiden. She tells him not to mention her name if he does and he asks if it has anything to do with Clyde. They hypothetically talk about Clyde and Rafe says he thinks Clyde is a mean guy. She asks if Victor knows anything and they talk about the trucking business situation again. He tells her to be careful.
Back at the apartment, Justin is talking against Will and is being all pro Paul. Sonny calls Justin a hypocrite after what he has done to his mom. Justin tells him he just wants him to be happy and he knows he isn't perfect. He tells Sonny to think about what he really wants before he leaves the apartment. Sonny plays with Ariana and thinks about what his dad said about being honest. He thinks about both Paul and Will. Will returns and tells Sonny he has decided not to do the article on Clyde and will instead be focusing on his family. Justin gets a call in the square from someone and mentions that he isn't far away.
Meanwhile at the hotel Lucas and Adrian are in the bed after having sex. They have no regrets and Lucas asks her out for dinner. She agrees to go and says now that he has a job how will he pay? He tells her he has a meeting with someone about a job in Salem, but he doesn't want to talk about it too much. They open the door to leave kissing passionately as Justin walks up and heavily sighs.
Daniel goes home and accidentally knocks over a glass. He curses and Maggie overhears him as he left the door open to bring in a package. Daniel gets the news that everyone from Italy is almost back home. Maggie asks him what else is going on (since she is always in everyone's business) and he tells her about Nicole. He tells her it was his fault and that she is the woman for him! (Just like that, no build up really for that one).
Nicole is hoping her sacrifice will work to entice Xander. Just then Xander shows up at her office asking if she is OK and if there is something he can do. She tells him to take her out for coffee or a drink, but he declines saying he can't because of Daniel. He leaves and Nicole worries some more about her decision.
Sonny leaves the apartment and gets a phone call from Paul. He stares at the phone. Will plays with Ariana. He agrees that only her and Sonny matter. Someone knocks on the door and it's Clyde! He wants to talk, of course.
Aiden and Hope meet up and agree not to talk about work ever. He is excited to see her family and they kiss before going to pick up the kids.
Nicole forms a text to apologize to Daniel but before she sends it, she gets a phone call from Xander. He has changed his mind and can't stop thinking about her. He agrees to meet up with her privately.
The weirdest thing about this episode is how Daniel is all of a sudden in love with Nicole and she is the one. He was just so unsure and saying that they should take things slow, so this is a huge jump. Also Maggie needs to stop meddling in everyone's business! What do you think?
