Today's show was pretty boring. It seems like they are just wrapping up from last week. Nothing exciting happened, although it seems like Rafe may have gotten some information on Clyde. Here is the recap:
Will is on the phone with Kate talking about Ariana’s
birthday. He gets a knock at the door and has to leave. Kate gets off the phone
and sees detective who asks what Will was doing in Poplar Bluff. Rafe is at the
door with a dress that Gabi made for Arianna for the birthday party. Will goes
to get Arianna up from her nap and Rafe sees interviews he did from Poplar
Bluff on the computer. He asks him why he didn’t listen to him.
Ben tells Clyde that he took his name, and he asks how
Abigail took it. He tells Clyde she was with Chad. He says he just walked away
because he was so mad and hasn’t talked to her. Clyde tells Ben not to leave
the door open for Chad no matter what.
Abigail tells Chad she didn’t try to understand why Chad
behaved the way he did before. He says he did it because he loved her. He tells
her that he should have been happy for her instead of behaving the way that he
did. Abigail says that she screws up her life on her own. Chad also talks about
how bad he is. He goes on about how he is a Dimera. Abigail gets a phone call
from Ben. Chad tells her to take the call and walks away. Ben wants to know if
they can meet up and talk right now.
Brady proposes to Melanie. She tells him to get up for a
moment. She tells him that he has nothing to prove to her. He tells her that is
not what he is doing. Brady tells her how he will never be able to find the
right words to tell her how much he loves her.
Theresa is telling her mom that she is going to raise her
son in Salem. Kim is telling her to be realistic and that Brady is in love with
someone else. Kim tells her she can go back to LA because her promotion is
almost over. Caroline and Roman come to visit. Anne comes into the room and
says that they need to discuss Theresa’s maternity leave. Theresa tells Anne
how her mom wants her to move back. She tells her she isn’t moving and Anne
tells her that it is because of Brady.
Kate is telling Hope that Will was assigned to write an
article for the magazine on Clyde. She asks her why she was eavesdropping and
that she was having a private conversation. She brings up Aiden and says that
he seems like a good catch. She tells Hope they should all get together. Hope
tells Kate that she didn’t answer her question about how she felt about Will
writing the article.
Rafe asked Will why he did the article. Will tells him that
Clyde found out about the article and wanted him to do it. He tells him he didn’t
find out much information, and takes Arianna over to open her birthday present.
Will tells Rafe that Clyde came to his apartment and indirectly threatened him.
He tells Rafe that he was right about Clyde. Rafe says he will let himself out
of the apartment as Will readies Ariana for lunch. He does something on the
computer first.
Melanie tells Brady that she thought they were taking things
slow. She tells him he should spend every day with his son. He tells her that
he can do both. She tells him that she is fine with things the way that they
are and they kiss. Brady tells her he is going to put the ring away for now,
but not for good. She tells him that they are just putting a pin on it right
now. He tells her to stop giving him space because he doesn’t need it. She asks
about Theresa, and Brady says that he believes that she has grown up. Melanie
says she is going to head to the hospital, and Brady has a conference call. He
leaves.
Theresa tells Anne that she isn’t staying in Salem for
Brady, but she wants her son to be close to his father. Anne says her mom is
just giving her another option. Theresa gets an idea. Anne wants to know what
she is up to now. Melanie arrives to check on Theresa and the baby. Theresa
asks Anne to leave because she has something to say to Melanie. Theresa tells
Melanie that what is about to happen depends on her.
Ben and Abigail meet up in the park and he apologizes. He
tells her that Clyde has been trying to make up for all of his wrongdoings in
the past. He shows her his new license. She asks him if Clyde has seen it and
says that he must be proud. Ben tells Abigail that he should have told her
before. He tells her he went looking for her and found her with Chad. She tells
him she ran into Chad and he had just found out that Kristen had been killed.
Ben asks her if everything is OK between them, and Abigail says that it is.
Chad shows up at Will’s apartment and says he heard about
the article that he is writing. Will asks him if he is the one who wanted the
article written on Clyde so he could be with Abigail. Chad says he just wants
to know what kind of piece Will is doing on Clyde. Will tells him he only got
good information about him, but Chad wants to know what he is hiding. Will
tells him he has a family to think of and he is going to write the article and
be done. He tells Chad he can’t put him in this position. Chad tells him he
needs to write everything that he got on Clyde into the article.
Hope is talking to an officer and asking why Rafe was there.
She tells her he was there to see a detective. Hope finds him and asks him what
he is doing there. Rafe said that he and Thompson had a bet on the game, but
Hope catches him in a lie. She wants to know why he was really there.
Kate and Clyde meet up at Sonny’s club. Kate complains about
the situation between her and Lucas. Clyde orders her a martini. She says that
Adrienne poisoned Lucas against her. She asks about him and Ben. Clyde tells
her about the name change. Kate tells him that Will already went to Poplar
Bluff. Clyde tells her that Stefano won’t find any satisfaction from the
article.
Kim goes to Victor’s house to look for Brady. She looks
around and sees a picture of Maggie and Victor. Brady comes in to see her and
she gives him a hug. She tells him she is sorry about the ordeal that they had
to go through. She asks if he will let her help. She asks him what he thinks is
going to happen next with the baby and Theresa.
