Brady, Theresa, Marlena, Melanie, and the Baby Return from Italy and Eve and Cole Trick J.J.

J.J. turns around to kiss Paige and when he enters the house, he looks up and says what the hell. It is a knocked over flower. Cole goes into J.J.’s room looking around frantically. He has to hide under the bed as J.J. and Paige enter. J.J. sits on the bed and they kiss and start making out. They stop saying his mom will be home any minute and go downstairs. 



Eve tells Jennifer she will stay out of her and Paige’s relationship. Theresa enters the hospital with the baby and tells Eve it is her and Brady’s son. Jennifer overhears. A doctor checks on the baby. He asks them to step out of the room and they go right outside. Theresa tells Eve the baby is fine. Brady asks to talk to Jennifer and tells her that Kristen is dead. Eve tells her that her world is about to change and Theresa agrees looking at Brady and smiling. (Don’t think that is what she means Theresa). 

Xander says he hopes Nicole meant that she would keep things private and says he wants to show her how he feels about her. Xander leans in for a kiss, but Nicole tells him she isn’t ready. He gets a phone call from Victor. Victor tells him to get over there right away and hangs up. He tells Nicole he has to leave. She offers to stay and wait at the room for him until he gets back. Xander says he isn’t sure how long he will be. She says she could take it easy and get comfortable. He tells her he will call her when he’s free and she leaves.

John comes in to Victor’s saying he got a text to meet her. Marlena enters, and Victor thanks her for killing Kristen! Marlena says it was an accident as Victor excitedly tells what happened. He says they should celebrate with champagne, but they both just look at him. He leaves so they can catch up, and Marlena fills John in. 

Maggie and Melanie hug as Daniel enters the apartment and hugs her. She apologizes for lying. Maggie wants to know what happened. She tells them someone else is in Salem as well. She tells them about what happened and the baby. She tells them the baby has SKID which is a treatable immune disorder. Daniel is going to go to the hospital and asks Melanie if she wants to go with him. She says it isn’t her place right now, and Daniel tries to reassure her.

Serena apologizes to Eric for being late and gives him a Hawaiian shirt. She asks him about the move again and he tells her he can’t decide right now. Serena looks pained. Eric gets a text and wonders what is going on in Italy.

Jennifer talks to Brady about Kristen and the reminiscence about the good things about her. Eve asks Theresa if she has called her mom yet and she hasn’t. Eve tells her not to wait too long to call her. She tells her how protective she will be now. Daniel says he can go check on the baby. Brady kisses Melanie and tells her he is glad she is there as Theresa glares on. Daniel says the baby is fine but has to stick around for observation. Theresa asks if her bone marrow will still help and he says he hopes so. She says before he goes she wants everyone to hear how Melanie kept her and Brady in the dark about the baby. (Really! Without Melanie, you wouldn’t even know about the baby Theresa!).

Xander gets to Victor’s, and he tells him about the baby and Theresa. He says they need to make sure the place is ready when Brady gets there with the baby. Xander thanks Victor for inviting him, but he says he wants the place to be secure. He tells him Dimeras may be looking for revenge and to keep an eye on the house. He leaves to go meet the baby. Xander is upset after he leaves saying he is family also. (Uh oh).

Nicole comes up to Eric and Serena and says she knows a little information from her boss about Italy, but they don’t know the whole story. Eric leaves to call Marlena. Nicole sees the Hawaiian shirt and asks what Eric said. She gloats that he said no and asks why Serena wants to leave so badly. Nicole tells her that she shouldn’t let anything keep her from the job. Serena leaves to go see if Eric has found out anything. 

Marlena tells Eric him and Serena should meet her at the club in a few minutes. John leaves to go meet up with Brady and tells her he is happy she is OK. 

Cole crawls from under the bed. He sees J.J.’s backpack and puts the drugs in there. Downstairs J.J. and Paige talk about Eve. Cole sneaks down the stairs and goes out the front door. (I thought you could see the door from the couch!). Cole calls the tip line on J.J. saying he saw him dealing drugs.

Theresa turns it around and ends up thanking and hugging her. Daniel is going in to check on the baby, and Theresa asks if she and Brady can go in. Brady says he needs to talk to Melanie first. He takes her into the break room and kisses her passionately. He says that is his way of saying thank you. They talk about his fatherhood abilities. He tells her he loves her, and they kiss again. Melanie and Maggie leave as Theresa smiles. Daniel offers to go talk to Victor so Brady can stay. Brady tells Theresa John will be there soon. Theresa decides to grab some food with Eve. Eve wants to know what she is up to pretending to be all nice.

Marlena fills in Eric and Serena over coffee. They talk about how Kristen can’t hurt anyone else now. They say that was probably the only solution.

Victor enters the hospital to meet the baby. He tells him he can’t keep that name. Brady says Theresa wants to change it. They both wish Brady’s mom could be there. Brady cuddles the baby as John comes in. He asks what is going on and Brady tells him that is his son.

Daniel runs into Nicole as she is trying to catch Brady at the mansion. She asks him what is going and he says he will let Brady explain it. Daniel asks her out for coffee and says he misses her. Nicole tells him no, that they are over as Xander listens in. Daniel asks her why she is so upset. She says all they do is fight and it isn’t worth it. She tells him not to touch or call her and leaves. She mutters how she is so sorry as she leaves the mansion.

J.J. shows Jennifer his acceptance letter. She wonders why he is going there and he tells her about Paige. He says they plan to live together. Jennifer is overwhelmed. He asks her if it’s OK. She tells him wherever he goes to school is up to him. She says they can talk some more later, but she is all for it. Jennifer asks if Paige has told her mom. She says Paige needs to call her mom about something and Paige says she has to go anyway. Jennifer says if she needs her she can call her. Roman shows up to see J.J. concerning police business.

Eve and Theresa talk over lunch. Theresa tells her she tells hates Melanie and is just keeping her enemies close. 

Ok, so Theresa is of course going to use this situation to her advantage. It just seems weird how Melanie is acting. It feels like she is overacting the way someone would really be feeling. I'm glad that Nicole seems to be getting closer and hasn't gotten caught yet. Hopefully she is careful as Xander seems very dangerous. What do you think?
