Nicole Gets Closer to the Truth and J.J. Catches Eve!

Today's episode was slightly weird, but a few new things occurred. Here is the scoop:

Serena tells Daniel Nicole is with Xander. She wants Daniel to forget she said that, but he asks how she knows. She tells him she was just there. She tells him she is just interviewing Xander about the Italy situation. Daniel tells her he isn’t buying it. She tells him that is what Nicole said. She says if she tells him what is really going on, it has to stay between them. She says she can’t cause trouble for Xander. Daniel promises her it won’t’ leave the room. She tells him that Xander isn’t what he appears to be. He is very persuasive and dangerous.

Meanwhile Nicole sees the photo of the elephant on Xander’s phone. She hurriedly puts it away as Xander enters. He lifts her ankle and asks her to tell him when it hurts as he massages it. She pretends like it hurts. She wants to know what he is thinking. He massages Nicole’s leg and she stops him saying he fixed it. He catches her as she falls off the bed.

Paige is thinking about finding out what happened to J.J. when Cole shows up. She tells him they figured it out. She knows he tried to have J.J. arrested by planting drugs on him. Cole denies it. Paige asks him to deny that he hates J.J. She says if he leaves then she will call the police.

Eve arrives at her apartment to a note under the door to text a number. It is from a temporary phone that J.J. bought. Jennifer arrives home with party supplies for Paige’s birthday as J.J. hurriedly hides the phone but dropping the paper with the number on it. She throws it away thinking it’s from Cole. Paige has no idea about the party as her birthday is tomorrow. J.J. tells Jennifer he has to go out in a minute to turn in a paper. He asks her to invite Eve to the party. She leaves and J.J. thanks her. He then sends a message to Eve to send a message to this number. She ignores it but he sends another one that she should text or they are screwed. Clearly he is trying to get her to confess by text, thinking she is texting Cole. Paige gets a phone call from Eve and tells her she is talking to someone. Eve gets off the phone as Jennifer arrives. Her phone starts ringing and Jennifer tells her she can answer if she needs to. (Weird sequence of events). She tells her it is nothing. J.J. gets a text from his mom that she is at Eve’s house. The phone rings again. She keeps trying to ignore it. Jennifer tells her the invitation to the party is genuine as the phone keeps ringing. Eve reluctantly goes over to the phone and has threatening text messages. She gets a message that is supposedly from Cole saying he is on the way. She texts back and tells Cole to stay put. J.J. smiles as he has proof now.

Justin is talking to Sonny about Adrienne. He asks how Sonny and Will are doing. Sonny tells him Will doesn’t know Paul is back yet. Sonny tells him Will is out of town for his article. Justin asks Sonny if he has seen Paul. They argue about Will.

John and Paul are out in the square and Paul apologizes for what happened with Brady and Theresa. John tells him Theresa is crazy. He tells John he has already seen Sonny. He tells John what happened with the shirt situation and how Will wasn’t there. He said he wanted to see them to straighten things out. John says he can drop the shirt off for him, but Paul tells him neither one will be home so he will do it. He talks to John about Paul. He asks when he is going to get to meet his new nephew and tells John to apologize to Brady for him. John has to leave. Paul arrives at the hospital to the babysitter that says she has to take the baby to the hospital right now. She says nothing is wrong with the baby. Her sister broke her arm, and she has to get to the hospital with her insurance card. Paul says he can stay with the baby as he has Sonny’s number.

Paul is on the phone with Sonny. He asks to talk to Natalie. She apologizes and thanks him. She wrote some notes for Sonny, and he tells her to go and that he will be fine. (Uh oh, isn’t Will on the way home?). Paul hears keys and assumes that it is Sonny, ,but it’s Will!

Daniel tells Serena that Nicole knows how to handle herself with all guys. Daniel tells her this information stays with him as promised. Serena leaves and Daniel looks very upset. Serena says that she doesn’t believe that he will be silent and calls Xander’s phone for damage control. She tells him she needs to see him and it can’t wait. Xander tells Nicole he has to cut things short for business. Nicole leaves.

J.J. texts Eve back and saying that Paige is suspicious. Eve tells Jennifer she has to go, and that it is Theresa. He tells her he needs money, and she texts back for him to go away. He says he needs to leave town, but Eve refuses. He says he will tell Paige. She says OK Cole tell me what you need. (Lol, this is crazy. They are really messing up this story as the things that are happening are just too weird and seemingly meaningless.). He tells her he needs $1000 to get away and to meet at the park. She can just put the money on the bench. He promises he will leave her alone afterwards. They both prepare to leave and she says she can’t trust him. Eve arrives in the park wearing dark sunglasses, lol. She gets a call from Cole. J.J. arrives and takes a photo of Eve saying he got her!

Paige is asking Cole why he did it as everyone else in the student union listens. She tells him to stay away from her and leaves.

Nicole wonders why Xander has the elephant picture, and she decides to go to Daniel’s to see one of the elephants in person. Nicole shows up and Daniel asks why she wasn’t still at Xander’s. He is mad and goes off on her. He slams the door in her face.

Serena arrives at Xander’s. He gets another call and after he hangs up the photo of the elephant shows up on his phone.

Jennifer finds the prepaid phone pamphlet. Paige arrives and tells Jennifer she needs to see J.J. She tells her he isn’t there and she leaves. She exclaims that she will be so surprised in a few hours. You are right about that Jennifer!

So I'm no longer as excited about everyone finding out about the affair after today's episode. I just don't like the way the situation is beoing handled already. It makes Eve all of a sudden look extremely stupid. J.J. and Paige seem to have gotten smarter overnight. It is just such a complete jump. This is why this story should have been over a long time ago. They had to do too much to keep it quiet and now that they are moving it along it doesn't feel right. What do you think?
